I have two verses in mind, when I read about the financial crisis, sweeping the globe, starting from the States, where the loans were given easily, in turn led to the mortages, and then greed settling in.
The word "sub-prime" is referred to the given loan to borrowers, with no substantial income. Bubbles when they are over blowned, will burst. The Housing bubbles busted, and crisis settled in. The dust settled down. What does one see? There, you can see the casualties. Not only the banks, but the investors, who are seriously hurt.
"Look here, you rich people: Weep and groan with anguish because of all the terrible troubles ahead of you" James 5: 1-2
"Enjoy what you have rather than desiring what you don't have. Just dreaming about nice things is meaningless-like chasing the wind" Ecclesiastes 6:9
